I’m trying to hold up a candle in this time of darkness. You can, indeed, find work, even when there are no jobs in sight, even when no one is hiring, even when you haven’t gotten a response in months…

This is a bit of a follow-up to a post I did, I think last week.

I was saying how things are really rough.

In fact, a lot of my posts have been saying that and that is true.

I’m going to go with a yes and on this one.

It’s hard to find work right now because it’s the fourth quarter of this particular year.

Now that said, I got a lot of people coming back to me saying actually.

I did find a job during this time and you can see some other coaches are chiming in and saying, yeah, you can.

And it is true, you absolutely can.

So to to leave on the 150% positive tip, you can find work.

You’re not going to find it on a job board.

You’re not going to find it on a LinkedIn board.

Where you’re going to find it is hidden away somewhere in a conversation.

That you’re having with somebody.

So that is and always will be the way to find work, particularly when the market is as tough as it is now.

So I too have had some success stories with that, coaching people through kind of networking their way in.

And if you don’t want to use the word networking, think of it as kind of just diving into your community a little bit.
